I so wish we could grow them in Southern California
But my good friend Kathy-Vintage Lady
who has the greenest thumb around
tells me it is a no go.....
You can get them at Trader Joe's for $6.99 a bunch...
I highly recommend them for
their beauty and aroma.
Many who came into the shop this week thought they were FAKE!!
(I can only imagine it is because they are so perfect)

I moved from So Cal to the midwest 19 months ago, and was pleased to find Peonies in my back garden. The look like nothing all winter long...then in the spring these little red nubs start poking through the earth...I had a sweet pink peony. They honestly don't last very long and get ants all over them...so the TJs ones are probably the way to go. I sure miss my Trader Joe's!
